Intrepid ASCII Combat is a fast-paced ASCII First Person Shooter that runs in the command line

PLOT

     As an emissary of the Alien Messiah, take possession of an enemy drone and destroy the rest of those heretical robot weirdos! Hopefully there aren't too many of them... 

GAMEPLAY

• Intrepid ASCII Combat fuses a rouge-lite FPS experience with a built-from scratch ASCII rendering system. 
  

•  Fight the horde of enemy robots the best you can, blasting as you go.  
• Use cover to your advantage as you outmaneuver increasing volumes of incoming fire, seek out powerups to gain energy, and orient yourself using the South Star.
• Sacrifice your own energy to deliver Power Blasts and decimate large groups of enemies that you can see - use wisely! 
• If energy is depleted then its game over. Also be careful not to collect more energy than you have slots for - you'll overload and die! 
• Your current Score and Energy level are on the lower right of the Heads Up Display. An aiming reticle is centered on the screen.
